Job description

Help build the infrastructure powering the next generation of AI.

The demand for AI and high-performance computing is transforming the data center industry, and the scale of what's being built is bigger than ever.

We're supporting a rapidly growing data center developer delivering large-scale, mission-critical infrastructure in Texas, and we're looking for an experienced Materials Manager to play a key role in the successful delivery of major construction projects.

This is an opportunity to take ownership of materials management in a fast-paced project environment where planning, coordination and execution make a real difference.

What will you be doing?

You'll be at the heart of project delivery, ensuring the right materials and equipment are available at the right time to keep construction moving.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Developing material plans aligned with project schedules and construction milestones.
  • Coordinating with procurement, engineering, project controls, contractors and construction teams.
  • Overseeing inventory control, material tracking, receiving, storage and distribution.
  • Expediting deliveries and proactively resolving shortages, delays and supply-chain risks.
  • Managing supplier performance, inventory discrepancies and material reporting.
  • Leading and developing materials and warehouse teams.
  • Improving processes, systems and material visibility to support efficient project execution.
What we're looking for
  • Experience as a Materials Manager, Materials Superintendent, Material Control Manager or in a similar role.
  • A background in EPC, industrial construction, energy, utilities, petrochemical, manufacturing or major infrastructure projects.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management, procurement, logistics and material expediting.
  • Experience coordinating materials across multiple project teams and stakeholders.
  • Leadership experience, with the ability to develop teams and drive accountability.
  • Familiarity with ERP or material management systems.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving, planning and supply-chain risk management.

Data center experience is desirable, but not essential. Experience delivering materials across complex, large-scale industrial or construction projects is what matters most.

Why consider this opportunity?

This is much more than a traditional warehouse or inventory management position.

You'll have the opportunity to contribute to the delivery of next-generation digital infrastructure, working in an environment where project scale, construction schedules and operational excellence are critical.

If you enjoy taking ownership, solving complex materials challenges and keeping major projects on track, we'd love to hear from you.
