Job summary

Benefis Health System in Montana seeks an Inventory Control Technician to support the Surgery Center and OCOM practice. You will manage inventory, monitor PAR levels, and ensure proper handling and sterilization of surgical instruments.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and experience with materials handling. You will work within a team focused on patient care excellence and compliance with all policies and regulations.

Education/License/Experience Requirements: High school diploma or GED certification required. Materials handling / inventory experience preferred

• Responsible for the management of inventory control in collaboration with Materials Services management and staff for the Surgery Center as well as the OCOM practice.
• Responsible for ensuring proper care and use of surgical instruments.. .
• Monitors PAR levels of all surgical supplies.
• Cleans and sterilizes surgical instruments.
• Participates in departmental staff meeting and performance improvement activities.
• Demonstrates the ability to deal with pressure to meet deadlines, to be accurate, and to handle constantly changing situations.
• Demonstrates the ability to deal with a variety of people, deal with stressful situations, and handle conflict.
• Will perform all job duties or job tasks as assigned.
• Will follow and adhere to all requirements, regulations and procedures of any licensing board or agency.
• Must comply with all Benefis Health System's organization policies and procedures.
