Job summary

Shady Grove Medical Center is seeking an experienced Lead Stock/Receiving Clerk for our Materials Management Department. The role supports efficient workflows, accurate charge entry, and tight coordination between the storeroom and main inventory system.

The candidate will participate in product reviews, help manage shift schedules, and ensure timely, accurate receiving and stocking of supplies, including oxygen inventory across the facility.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• Minimum 2 years of healthcare experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure department standards and logistics are met to support workflow.
• Enter patient charges accurately and timely.
• Maintain accurate linkage between point of use and main inventory system.
• Attend Product Review Committee meetings and assist in shift scheduling.
• Identify, pick, and distribute stock to maintain par levels for departments.
• Fulfill inventory stock requests submitted through MMIS.
• Maintain knowledge of Storeroom item locations and ensure timely deliveries.
• Communicate with vendors/customers to resolve issues and verify deliveries.
• Oversee oxygen tank inventory and related rooms.
• Perform duties and special projects as assigned.
