Job summary

Capital Health is seeking a Materials Clerk to lead the department's materials workflow. You will receive all incoming supplies and equipment, verify orders, and dispense inventory to nursing units while ensuring accurate MMIS documentation.

This role requires coordinating with supervisors, maintaining organized storerooms, and delivering items on schedule. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma, three years of experience, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Three years of previous experience is required.
• Driver's License is required.

Responsibilities

• Provides technical instruction and operational assistance to other materials clerks.
• Reviews work activities to ensure information is entered accurately in the MMIS.
• Assists supervisor in determining inventory reorder levels and performs reorders in supervisor’s absence.
• Communicates status of pending inventory orders and discrepancies to the appropriate clerk or supervisor.
• Receives incoming supplies and ensures receipt is documented in MMIS.
• Delivers received product to end users or storeroom per established schedule.
• Handles the return of goods with manufacturers or vendors as instructed.
• Operates power and manual equipment safely.
• Enters storeroom requisitions into MMIS for expense distribution.
• Completes orders by removing product and preparing for delivery.
