Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 6 months experience in Materials Management or related environment.
• Prefer 1 year experience in Materials Management or related environment.
• Capable of performing repetitive tasks quickly and accurately.

• Demonstrate excellent customer service behavior and organizational skills.
• Thorough knowledge of medical supplies used within warehouse and facilities.
• Knowledge of sterile technique as it applies to supply distribution.
• Ability to operate material handling equipment to move boxes and items.

Responsibilities

• Replenish supply locations accurately by stocking supplies in the appropriate bins.
• Assist with placement of incoming and non-medical supply in appropriate stock locations by assigned time.
• Fills and delivers departmental requisitions per schedule.
• Assist with deliveries, stocking warehouse shelves and emptying boxes.
• Input issues to the system accurately and timely per schedule.
• Ensure storeroom and par locations are secured properly to enforce security measures.
• Maintain and check expiration on a supply location monthly at least.
• Maintain clean stock locations with bins, items & carts and verify labels.
• Perform inventory counts at designated times during shifts.
• Compile and batch patient charges and forward to business office at end of shift when on daily distribution role.
• Set up crash carts on each shift; maintain minimum five and address expired products as needed.
• Respond to code blue and bring crash carts where needed.
• Respond to call downs within fifteen minutes.
• Receive all incoming materials, supplies and equipment per policy.
• Ensure incoming freight matches manifest and record discrepancies.
• Inspect shipments for damages and record in bill of lading; notify purchasing.
• Coordinate outgoing freight: label, weigh, prepare bill of lading and log in manifests.
• Receive, record, deliver priority freight and refrigerated/frozen within four hours; regular freight within 24 hours.
• Follow safety measures when operating facility equipment (carts, hand truck, pallet jack).
• Remove boxes and maintain clean environment in storeroom and par locations.
• Keep work areas clean; notify supervision if unable.
• Collaborate with Materials Management team to meet facility needs.
• Complete projects and other duties as directed.
