Job description

Job Overview:

The Distribution Attendant is responsible for storing, processing, collecting, and distributing all supplies and equipment products to and from the hospital. This role ensures adequate supply levels in all areas, receives, keys, and promptly distributes all supplies within the facility, and maintains all par levels for storeroom safety stock as well as all other stocking locations. Additionally, the Distribution Attendant conducts physical inventories of all Point of Use (POU) areas according to the defined schedule and delivers and collects all Materials Management products to and from the hospital.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • High School graduate or G.E.D equivalent
  • Successful completion of all orientation programs

Preferred:

  • Minimum 2-3 years of healthcare experience preferred.
  • Good communication and organizational skills.
  • Able to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision.

Scheduling Requirements:

  • Shift Working: Monday-Friday, 6:00am - 2:00pm
    • Every Other Weekend Required
  • Day Shift
  • Full-Time, 37.5 Hours Per Week
