Job summary

M.C. Dean, Inc. is seeking a Material Handler Supervisor to oversee on-site material handling and equipment operations at a Virginia project site.

The role focuses on supervising staff, inventory control, logistics coordination and reporting. Ideal candidates bring 5+ years of relevant experience with materials, strong Excel/Outlook skills, and a valid driver's license. The position offers a competitive hourly pay range of $28–$38 per hour, with benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of demonstrated experience with a High School Diploma/GED or 2+ years with an Associates Degree.
• Proficiency with electrical design build materials and equipment, inventory management, Warehouse and Logistics Service Center processes and procedures.
• Advanced level MS Excel, Word and Outlook skills.
• Physical ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Strong English communication and reporting skills.
• Experience in managing a team and resolving workplace conflicts.

Responsibilities

• Supervising the daily operations for assigned job site(s).
• Serving as a subject matter expert regarding materials, tools, and rental equipment.
• Receiving, recording, and tracking inventory.
• Monitoring onsite distribution and delivery.
• Following up on requests from superintendents and foremen.
• Liaising with Assets Service Center for logistics details.
• Determining transportation for inventory delivery.
• Analyzing reporting metrics and budgets.
• Preparing and presenting detailed project reports.
