Job summary

BorgWarner is hiring a Materials Associate to support receiving, shipping, and storage in our production operations. You will move and verify materials, pick parts for shipment, and use forklifts or pallet jacks as needed.

Accurate reporting in SAP is essential for inventory control and efficient workflow. Requirements include a HS diploma/GED and some material handling experience; RF scanning and forklift certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma/GED, or basic skills assessment required.
• Experience: 6 months in fast-paced industrial lean environment; 1 year material handling in a distribution setting; RF scanning experience; forklift operator license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload materials; verify against Pack Lists; count and weigh parts for quantity accuracy.
• Pick parts for shipment and packaging per procedures.
• Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, order-pickers, and dollies to move materials.
• Enter materials data into SAP and other systems accurately.
