Job summary

BorgWarner in Seneca, SC is seeking a Materials Associate to perform receiving, shipping, and storage tasks supporting production. You will safely move materials between storage, shipping, receiving, and production areas and report relocations accurately in the system.

The role requires lifting, operating forklifts, reading pack lists, and entering transactions in SAP.Candidates should have a High School diploma/GED and 1 year material handling experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 6 months in a fast-paced industrial environment.
• 1 year material handling experience preferred.
• Prior RF scanning experience.
• 1 year forklift operator experience in distribution.
• Ability to read, write and differentiate numbers.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload materials and verify against pack lists.
• Move materials using pallet jacks, forklifts, and dollies.
• Issue materials to departments and record quantities in SAP.
• Perform stock replenishment and cycle counting when needed.
• Follow safety policies and wear PPE as required.
• Support 5S housekeeping and nonconforming material handling.
