Job summary

Calista is seeking a Material Coordinator to expedite material flow for the Kirtland AFB tenant units and manage inventory across base-wide operations.

The role requires experience in materials coordination, data management, and strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle high-stress environments and multiple priorities.

Applicants should be able to lift 75 pounds and obtain a Government Security Clearance as needed. This position is based on site at Kirtland AFB, NM.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a materials coordinator, shipping/receiving, inventory control or related field.
• Must be able to lift 75 pounds.
• Ability to pass a drug and background screening.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Government Security Clearance.
• Forklift experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Expedites the flow of materials, parts and assemblies between sections or departments.
• Processes incoming customer requests and responds to inquiries and complaints.
• Maintains inventory and performs stock control tasks base wide.
• Updates databases related to equipment tracking and reporting.
• Interfaces with base equipment custodians and ensures documentation is current.
• Trains other supply personnel and equipment custodians when requested.
• Performs equipment account inventories base wide daily.
• Provides customer support using ES-S, Assent Management, IMDS and other AF websites.
