Job summary

M.C. Dean, Inc. is seeking a Material Handler I for our Logistics Service Center in Ashburn, VA. You will receive, verify, and store materials, manage stock levels, and support inventory accuracy while using internal systems to track movements.

Responsibilities include packing, labeling, and maintaining records, with a focus on safety and efficiency. Applicants should have 2+ years with a high school diploma or 1+ year with an Associate’s degree and be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of demonstrated experience with a High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1+ years with an Associate’s Degree
• Proficiency with MS Excel and MS Outlook
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks

Responsibilities

• Receiving, verifying, and counting stock items and keeping records
• Verifying inventory counts against records and resolving discrepancies
• Packing/unpacking items for storage and stocking shelves
• Marking stock items with tags and labels and organizing storage areas
• Maintaining documentation for stock usage and equipment
• Using internal software systems such as Material Requisition System and Equipment Transfer System
• Assisting with training and mentoring staff and ensuring safety compliance
• Maintaining high productivity and meeting deadlines
