Job summary

Kiewit is seeking a Materials Coordinator to coordinate and track project materials from procurement to installation support. You will work with Procurement, Construction, Warehouse Operations, Logistics, and Project Management to ensure materials are available as scheduled.

The role emphasizes maintaining accurate inventory records, monitoring deliveries, and supporting receiving and inspections in a fast-paced project environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 2 years of materials management experience.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Excel and MS Office.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; able to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Track materials from PO release through delivery, receipt, storage, and issuance.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Construction, Engineering, Suppliers, and Logistics teams to ensure material availability aligns with project schedules.
• Monitor material deliveries and communicate shortages, delays, or other supply chain risks.
• Assist receiving activities by verifying quantities and documentation against POs and shipping records.
• Assist with material inspections and resolution of discrepancies, damaged shipments, and inventory issues.
• Maintain accurate inventory records, locations, and transaction documentation.
