Job summary
Knight Material Technologies is seeking a Warehouse and Logistics Supervisor to lead shipping, receiving and warehouse teams on-site in East Canton, OH. You will drive safety, productivity and accuracy in material flow and inventory control, while partnering with the Materials Manager to meet customer demand and business goals.
The role emphasizes hands-on leadership 85% of the time, with a focus on continuous improvement, compliance and team development within the Manufacturing Operations
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent or relevant experience.
- 3–5 years of supervision in a production/industrial environment.
- Experience leading shipping, receiving and warehousing operations.
Responsibilities
- Lead daily shipping, receiving and warehousing activities.
- Ensure safety, compliance and high-quality output.
- Develop and mentor a high-performing team on the shop floor.
- Own international shipping and hazardous materials processes with oversight.
- Collaborate with Materials Manager on headcount and resource planning.
- Monitor metrics from inventory and logistics systems and address variances.
- Drive ISO standards and 5S culture across the team.
