Job summary

USConec, Ltd. in Hickory, NC is seeking a Materials & Logistics Lead for the 2nd shift (2:30pm–10:30pm). You will lead daily warehouse operations, mentor Coordinators and Clerks, and partner with the Logistics Supervisor to drive inventory accuracy and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years in warehouse operations, logistics, shipping/receiving, or inventory management.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory controls.
• Experience with ERP systems and inventory management software.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat.
• Strong written and verbal communication and cross‑department collaboration.
• Excellent problem solving, troubleshooting, and decision‑making.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Experience using barcode scanners, labeling systems, scales, and warehouse equipment.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily warehouse operations and guide staff.
• Train and mentor team members on processes and safety.
• Coordinate receiving, storage, inventory control, picking, verification, and shipping.
• Process inventory transactions within the ERP system.
• Monitor inventory levels and conduct cycle counts for accuracy.
• Investigate discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.
• Prioritize workflow to meet customer requirements and goals.
• Ensure compliance with packaging, labeling, and shipping standards.
• Collaborate with Customer Service, Freight Forwarders, and internal teams.
• Support inventory audits and maintain records.
• Identify and implement process improvements for efficiency and service.
