Job summary

Whirlpool Corporation is seeking a Materials LCS CIC leader to drive logistics and customer service transformation across the organization. The role delivers LCS projects, improves material flow, reduces costs, and partners with WO and Safety to embed WCM throughout materials operations.

You will coach hourly associates in LCS and WCM, managing projects with tools like FI/Kaizen events, Yamazumi analysis, SOPs, and VSOPs to achieve measurable savings and sustained capability improvements.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of WCM principles applied to multiple improvement initiatives.
• Expertise in Logistics and Customer Service (LCS) with Steps 0–7.
• Proven ability to deliver complex cross-functional improvement projects on time and budget.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery of assigned LCS improvement projects, ensuring alignment with savings objectives and milestones.
• Lead and execute Lean/LCS initiatives including NVAA reduction, material flow optimization, and inventory management improvement.
• Plan and manage improvement projects using FI tools (Yamazumi analysis, Time Studies, SOPs, VSOP, OPLs, Route Maps, Kaizen events).
• Mentor and coach hourly team members on WCM and LCS to build organizational capability.
• Utilize advanced project management and problem-solving tools to support NPI, FGM, WO, and LCS initiatives.
