Job summary

CTL|Thompson, Inc. seeks a Materials Laboratory Manager in Denver, CO for full-time employment. You will supervise lab technicians, perform tests, manage equipment and calibration, and coordinate with Project Managers to ensure safe, efficient operations.

The role requires 5+ years in field/lab testing and 3+ years supervising staff; salary ranges 85k–100k with annual bonuses. Benefits include medical, life, and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Three years of supervisory experience required.
• Five years of field and laboratory testing methods and interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory tests per specified standards.
• Manage laboratory testing workflow in SpectraQest.
• Review test results and outputs.
• Lead accreditation processes (AMRL/CCRL) under Technical Director guidance.
• Manage proficiency testing programs and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain laboratory quality systems and documentation.
• Prepare invoices for laboratory services.
• Other duties as assigned.
