Job summary

Eckart LLC is seeking a Material / Jobsite Specialist to manage material flow and availability, preventing delays and reducing waste. The role supports efficient operations and meeting customer demands in a hands-on warehouse environment.

Responsibilities include operating forklifts and other equipment, loading and unloading heavy items, and coordinating movement to optimize costs and service levels. A High School diploma and forklift certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous warehouse experience desirable.
• Knowledge of or previous experience in plumbing/electrical industry is an asset.
• Current Forklift Certification desirable.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate heavy equipment including forklifts, lulls, and telehandlers to move materials.
• Load, unload, transport, and position heavyweight goods per safety rules.
• Assist with pallet build-up and breakdown for shipment preparation.
• Inspect equipment before/after use and report issues promptly.
• Maintain a safe, clean, organized work area following policies.
• Coordinate material movement to support efficiency and service goals.
• Serve as liaison between Eckart LLC and SEG for operations needs.
• Ensure accuracy and accountability in handling freight and materials.
• Support warehouse operations with additional material-handling duties.
