Job summary

Howmet Aerospace is seeking a warehouse/inventory associate at our Big Lake, MN site. The role involves receiving, storing, and shipping parts and materials, while maintaining accurate ERP records and cycle counts.

You will use forklifts and material-handling equipment to move items, ensuring safe, efficient operations and adherence to 5S standards. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, basic inventory knowledge, and strong computer skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Understanding of inventory management principles and inventory transactions.
• proficiency in Windows and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities with urgency.
• Strong written and verbal communication; teamwork.
• Authorized to work in the United States; ITAR considerations apply.

Responsibilities

• Receive parts and materials from suppliers and verify counts and documents.
• Move materials to correct locations and update ERP with locations.
• Prepare and ship products with accurate counts and shipping docs.
• Maintain accurate inventory balances and conduct physical/cycle counts.
• Record PO receipts, moves, and other ERP transactions.
• Maintain stocking locations and shipping material inventories.
• Uphold 5S and safe, organized work environment; perform other duties as assigned.
