Job summary

JLG, an Oshkosh company, is seeking a Materials Support associate to maintain accurate inventory levels and ensure efficient material movement within the facility. You will identify, label, stock, transport, and record materials, verify packing slips, and support production and inventory control activities with safe operation of powered industrial equipment.

Successful candidates will be able to operate forklifts, maintain accurate records, and communicate effectively with internal teams.

Qualifications

Basic computer literacy is required.
Forklift training and license must be obtained and maintained.
Awareness of lean manufacturing concepts is expected.
Willingness to work overtime including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Maintain regular, reliable on-site attendance.

Responsibilities

Maintain inventory accuracy by identifying, labeling, stocking, and recording materials.
Safely operate forklifts to move materials within the facility.
Verify items against packing slips and process receipts/shipments.
Package materials for delivery to internal or external customers.
Communicate with internal teams and respond to material requests.
Prepare bills of lading and delivery documentation.
Pull materials for production orders and support cycle counts.
Track material movements in the inventory system.
Sort items by destination to match PO details.
