Job summary

JLG Industries, an Oshkosh company, is hiring a Materials Specialist I to support material planning, receiving, stocking, delivery and shipment within our Kansas City area facility. You will operate material handling equipment and help ensure data accuracy and smooth material flow.

You must be computer literate with Excel/Word, willing to work overtime, and maintain reliable on-site attendance. You will work with internal and external customers and participate in cycle counts and ISL management

Qualifications

• Computer literate with Microsoft Office, Excel and Word.
• Overtime willingness, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Regular and reliable on-site attendance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory with timely data entry.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies and system issues.
• Identify and correct receiving problems.
• Monitor and maintain inventory stock levels.
• Support material changes through allocation and inventory adjustments.
• Collaborate with internal and external customers to deliver service.
• Assist with cycle counts and inventory location management.
