Job summary

Teledyne FLIR Defense is seeking a Material Handler / Inventory Specialist to support manufacturing and engineering operations. You will receive, label, stock, and transport materials to keep products moving efficiently through the organization.

This hands-on role requires attention to detail, ability to work across teams, and proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office. A high school diploma and 1+ year in a related field are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years in manufacturing, warehouse, inventory, stockroom or logistics preferred.
• Strong attention to detail with commitment to accuracy and quality.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and process incoming materials and components.
• Label, package, and prepare materials for storage or production use.
• Stock, handle, issue, and kit materials to support production and engineering activities.
• Support shipping and receiving operations, including documentation.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and perform inventory control.
• Coordinate freight shipments and assist with logistics.
• Ensure materials are properly stored, identified, and handled.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
