Job summary

Public Utility District No. 1 of Chelan County is seeking a Materials Specialist in Wenatchee, Washington.

The successful candidate will issue, distribute and track materials, ship/receive supplies, and maintain accurate inventories using Maximo and PeopleSoft receiving systems. The role requires 2+ years of warehouse experience, strong English communication, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years warehouse experience required.
• Experience issuing and returning materials, shipping and receiving and inventory control preferred.
• Requires ability to read, write and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Issue, distribute and return materials to crews and contractors.
• Track inventory using Maximo; perform cycle counts as needed.
• Keep warehouses and equipment clean and safe; assist customers entering the warehouse.
• Train others on Continuous Quality Improvement methods for materials inventories.
• Operate district vehicles as needed and follow safety requirements.
