Job summary

Rogers Corporation in Narragansett, RI is seeking a Warehouse Associate to coordinate material handling within the production environment and support inventory processes.

You will identify, label, and stock materials, pull items for production orders, and help maintain accurate in-process inventory across work centers. The role requires attention to detail and basic mechanical aptitude, with forklift certification preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• <1 year experience of packing/shipping experience.
• Basic mechanical aptitude.
• Forklift operator certified or ability to become certified.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate activities within various work areas.
• Communicate handling issues and take direction from the department supervisor on a daily basis.
• Maintain inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in stock; recording location of inventory.
• Locate materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production orders.
• Maintain in-process inventory at work centers by delivering and opening materials and supplies.
• Document materials and supplies disposition by recording units delivered and location of units.
• Maintain material-handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections.
• Performs cycle counting to insure inventory accuracy.
• Performs nonconforming material process including device master records (DMRs) and hold tags.
• Other duties as assigned.
