Job summary

Rogers Corporation is seeking a Production Operator for Narragansett, RI to support our manufacturing team on the afternoon/evening shift. This full-time position involves setup, operation and troubleshooting of production equipment, along with strict adherence to safety and quality procedures.

You will inspect materials, record data accurately, and maintain a clean 5S work area while addressing process issues and working as part of a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Experience in a production/manufacturing/industrial related environment preferred
• High School Diploma or Equivalency Preferred
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs if needed
• Focus on Safety and follow specified safety protocol
• Accurately follow work instructions
• Maintain a clean work environment
• Perform various other duties as assigned

Responsibilities

• Set-up, operate and troubleshoot production equipment to assure safe, efficient production of materials.
• Perform visual inspection & measurement of material in accordance with established procedures to maintain product specification.
• Accurately record production data into the computer database.
• Detects unusual conditions, defective material, or operating difficulties. Resolve process issues and elevate as needed
• Perform other duties as directed and assigned
• Maintain safe work environment (5S), minor maintenance on the equipment and area clean-up.
