Job summary

Uniti in Dalton, GA, is seeking a Materials Coordinator to own construction materials and inventory, including picking, staging, and shipping. You will work with the Materials Manager on daily cycle counts and assist with loading/unloading shipments, while maintaining accurate system accounting and stocking levels.

You will need a High School diploma or equivalent with 4+ years’ experience, including RF scanning, Excel, and warehouse software.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent and 4+ years experience with 1+ years directly related to the job.
• Experience with radio-frequency devices to scan and record inventory transactions.
• Experience with warehouse management software and MS Office (Excel).
• Ability to work in a team and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to lift heavy materials.

Responsibilities

• Perform dock and stock tasks including picking, packing, unpacking, and shipping.
• Stage materials for upcoming construction projects and ensure proper stock locations.
• Load/unload materials and verify counts and weights.
• Prepare outbound freight documentation and keep system records accurate.
• Maintain a clean, safe workspace and ensure proper material handling.
• Support cycle counts and assist with inventory accuracy.
