Job summary

Accentuate Staffing is partnering with a growing Triangle-area manufacturer to recruit a Materials Coordinator who will support daily inventory, receiving, and shipping operations, ensuring the production teams have the materials needed to meet goals.

You will manage material movement, perform cycle counts, coordinate ship-outs, and help maintain accurate ERP records to support efficient production flow.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Experience in inventory control, materials management, shipping and receiving, warehouse operations, or a manufacturing support role.
  • Proficiency with ERP or inventory management systems such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms; Kanban experience is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to accurately manage inventory transactions and material movement.
  • Ability to work a consistent first-shift schedule and effectively manage competing priorities in a team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to safely lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds and perform the physical requirements of the position.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, and process incoming materials while maintaining accurate inventory records within the company’s inventory management system.
  • Build and distribute material kits to support production schedules and daily operational requirements.
  • Perform cycle counts, inventory audits, and stock reconciliations while proactively identifying and reporting material shortages.
  • Coordinate shipping activities, prepare outbound orders, and ensure timely delivery through approved carriers.
  • Organize inventory locations, manage shipping and packaging supplies, and help maintain efficient material flow throughout the facility.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment while following established inventory and material handling procedures.
