Job summary

FII in Houston is seeking a Senior Buyer to oversee inventory management and materials planning. The ideal candidate will have a degree in a relevant discipline and at least three years of supervisory experience in materials, preferably in electronics manufacturing. Responsibilities include driving inventory performance, ensuring adherence to build schedules, and managing both supplier and internal communications. The role requires a strong command of English and proficiency in SAP, with opportunities for foreign travel.

Qualifications

• Further education qualification such as a Degree in a relevant Discipline.
• At least three years of Management/Supervisory experience in a Materials role.
• A clean driving license and a current full passport.
• Good command of business English, further language skills are a benefit.

Responsibilities

• Drive Inventory Turns performance on a customer-by-customer basis.
• Establish process to analyze and publish inventory accuracy reports weekly.
• Manage reschedule activity with Vendors and the Purchasing group.
• Ensure the integrity of all Materials data in systems, including SAP.
