Job summary

Foxconn Industrial Internet - FII is seeking a Materials Manager in Houston to lead materials planning, forecasting, purchasing and inventory management for the high-volume manufacturing BU. You will coordinate with Materials, Operations and Procurement to ensure continuous production and optimal KPI results.

The role requires strong ERP experience, analytical skills, and the ability to communicate with executives.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for ensuring that the supply of Materials is available on the shop floor to allow for continuous production.
• Responsible for managing component forecast with suppliers, PO placement, and inventory levels to meet BU demand.
• Establish and maintain effective communications with all members of the Materials group, ensuring clarity of issues within the Group, BU, and Factory.
• Ensure KPIs are set, followed up, and results align with BU expectations to eliminate exposures in a timely manner.
• In case of problematic suppliers’ invoices (IQL), take actions to eliminate exposures to the BU promptly.
• Support NPI purchasing activities to ensure timely actions and provide professional support for ongoing and new projects.
