Job summary

ADB Companies, LLC is seeking a Material Manager to oversee material handling, logistics, and inventory in a warehouse/construction yard setting. The role leads a material team and ensures safety, efficiency, and accurate delivery for a nationwide operation.

The ideal candidate will drive KPI performance, manage vendor pricing, and deliver data-driven reporting while maintaining strict safety standards and strong cross-team collaboration.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in material handling/logistics and/or inventory.
• Previous experience managing a team.
• Valid driver's license; CDL strongly preferred.
• Forklift certification preferred (within 90 days of hire).

Responsibilities

• Direct manager of people including compensation management, performance, attendance, hiring, discipline, development, training, etc.
• Oversees the entire material and inventory processes and standards ensuring adherence from internal teams and subcontractors.
• Manages inventory KPI performance including turn around ratios, tracking, and pricing.
• Oversees vendor relationships and pricing; negotiates to ensure competitive pricing.
• Ensures material coverage for operations with loading, unloading, and delivery times.
• Oversees all financials related to materials and inventory including vendor payments and cost-cutting initiatives.
• Leads by example with safety and conduct, ensures training and safety standards are followed.
• Uses data analytics to provide reporting and real-time information on materials and equipment.
