Job summary

LINX seeks a detail-oriented Material Inventory Specialist to manage receipt, tracking, staging, and delivery of materials for network cabling projects at a hyperscale data center. Responsibilities include inventory control, shipment tracking, material prep, and kitting to ensure efficient job site support and project success.

Based in Cheyenne, WY, this on-site role requires forklift certification, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years in material management, logistics, or inventory control.
• Forklift certification, valid driver's license, reliable transportation.
• Proficient with inventory management software; accuracy essential.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities in fast-paced settings.
• Strong communication with project teams, suppliers, and vendors; high school diploma required, degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive, verify, and track incoming materials against purchase orders.
• Organize, stage, and prepare material kits for easy access.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular audits.
• Coordinate deliveries with suppliers and vendors; resolve issues.
• Track shipments and adjust inventory to minimize waste.
• Operate forklifts and adhere to safety procedures.
• Collaborate with project teams on procurement and substitutions.
