Job summary

LINX is seeking a detail-oriented Material Inventory Specialist to manage receipt, tracking, staging, and delivery of materials for network cabling projects at our Sunland Park site. You will support multiple data center builds with fiber and copper installations.

Responsibilities include inventory control, shipment tracking, material prep, and kit assembly to ensure project readiness. Candidates should have forklift experience, 3+ years in material management, and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in material management, logistics, or inventory control (telecom or construction industry preferred).
• Experience with Telehandler 5k, Walker Stacker, or electric pallet jack.
• Forklift certification, valid driver\\'s license, reliable transportation.
• Proficient in inventory management software with strong accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking in fast-paced environments.
• Strong communication with project teams, suppliers and vendors; high school diploma required, degree preferred.

• Maintain accurate inventory records, monitor usage, and conduct regular audits.

• Track shipments, update project teams, and adjust inventory levels to minimize waste.
• Safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment; ensure compliance with safety procedures.
• Collaborate with project teams on procurement, substitutions, and meeting project timelines.

Seeking a detail-oriented Material Inventory Specialist to manage receipt, tracking, staging, and delivery of materials for network cabling projects across multiple hyperscale data centers involving fiber and copper installation. Responsibilities include inventory control, shipment tracking, material prep, and kitting to ensure efficient job site support and project success.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Minimum Requirements

• Strong knowledge of utilizing Telehandler 5k, Walker Stacker or electric pallet jack.
• Forklift certification , valid driver's license, and reliable transportation required.
• Proficient in inventory management software with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills in fast-paced environments.
• Strong communication skills for working with project teams, suppliers, and vendors; high school diploma required , degree preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.
• Ability to work in various environmental conditions, including outdoor and warehouse settings.

Pay Rate

$28.00 - $35.00/hour
