Job summary

Sazerac is seeking a Materials Assistant to ensure production materials are available, maintain accurate inventory, coordinate with suppliers, and support purchasing and production activities in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

This role suits someone who enjoys organization, problem-solving, and cross-team collaboration; a high school diploma and at least 2 years in inventory or related fields are required, with a bachelor's degree preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 2+ years in inventory/purchasing or related field preferred.
• Bachelor's degree preferred for candidates with manufacturing experience.
• Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor inventory levels for production components and coordinate material releases with suppliers to maintain schedules.
• Process material receipts, production bookings, and inventory transactions with accurate records.
• Support purchasing by assisting with purchase orders and supplier communication.
• Contribute to continuous improvement for inventory accuracy, efficiency, safety, and compliance.
