Job summary

VanTran Industries, Inc. is seeking a Materials Associate to manage movement, storage, and distribution of materials to support production operations. You will help ensure inventory accuracy, timely material availability, and smooth material flow across the facility.

The role requires attention to detail, basic computer skills, and the ability to work with ERP systems. Prior warehouse or manufacturing experience is preferred, and forklift certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous manufacturing, warehouse, or inventory experience preferred.
• Basic computer and inventory system knowledge.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills.
• Forklift certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Receive, store, issue, and distribute materials to production areas.
• Maintain accurate inventory records using ERP or inventory management systems.
• Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory reconciliation.
• Monitor material levels and replenish stock as needed.
• Prepare materials for production and customer orders.
• Maintain organized storage areas and follow 5S and safety standards.
• Coordinate with warehouse, receiving, and production teams to ensure timely material availability.
