Job summary

Flex-N-Gate is seeking a Materials Supervisor to plan, organize and monitor production supplier parts, onboarding, contracts, releases, receiving, inventory and distribution to meet internal and external customer needs.

You will supervise Materials Coordinators, manage inbound logistics, lead cycle counts and coordinate with cross-functional teams on APQP, changes and cost improvements.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in business management, materials management or related field.
• Minimum five years in warehousing, receiving, shipping, inventory control or materials management in a manufacturing environment with 2 years of supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of environmental, health and safety regulations and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee materials department compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Supervise Materials Coordinators and planning of inbound materials to support production.
• Coordinate inbound logistics and optimize floor space usage.
• Maintain CMS database accuracy and supervise receiving activities.
• Lead year-end inventory and cycle count processes.
• Collaborate with APQP teams for new programs and changes.
• Coordinate vendor onboarding, setup, and cost negotiations with purchasing.
• Monitor supplier performance and drive continuous improvements.
