Austin Community College District is seeking an individual for the Advanced Manufacturing Materials Assistant (Hourly) to support daily operations, handle materials, and track inventory. The position involves repetitive tasks, labeling, organizing storage, and following safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to follow procedures and maintain accurate records.
• Comfortable performing routine and repetitive tasks consistently and accurately.
• Basic computer skills including spreadsheets, email, and inventory systems
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Ability to safely lift, move, and organize materials and equipment
• Understanding of workplace safety practices
• Proficiency with standard office software applications and student information/database systems

Responsibilities

• Receive, sort, and organize incoming materials and supplies.
• Maintain accurate inventory and materials records.
• Assist with preparing materials for classes and routine evaluation of inventory and course needs.
• Label and store materials in designated locations.
• Identify and report inventory discrepancies or shortages.
• Prepare and process shipping and receiving documentation.
• Maintain organized storage and work areas.
• Follow established safety, quality, and inventory procedures.
• Support materials management team with routine material requests and expectations.
• Other duties as assigned
