Job summary

AGRU America, Inc. is seeking a Materials & Inventory Analyst to support the accuracy and efficiency of materials and inventory processes at the Georgetown, SC facility.

This role centers on routine cycle counts, data entry, and reporting under the guidance of the Senior Materials & Inventory Analyst, offering a path to more advanced inventory analysis work. The analyst will track inventory levels, assist with regular reporting, and help maintain documentation and procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 0-2 years of experience in materials handling, inventory, warehouse, or related role; manufacturing environment a plus.
• Basic proficiency in Excel and comfort learning ERP/WMS systems; prior ERP/WMS exposure a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to follow established procedures and work under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cycle counts and assist with the annual physical inventory, recording and reconciling results under supervision.
• Track inventory levels, materials flow, and usage data, and flag variances or discrepancies.
• Enter and maintain accurate inventory transactions and records within the ERP/WMS system.
• Assist in preparing standard inventory reports and dashboards (e.g., inventory accuracy, turns, slow-moving inventory).
• Support investigation of inventory discrepancies by gathering data and documentation for root-cause review.
• Help maintain organized, accurate documentation for materials handling and inventory control procedures.
• Assist with warehouse and stockroom organization, labeling, and slotting as directed.
• Prepare, review, and process Bills of Lading (BOLs) for inbound and outbound shipments.
• Coordinate with Purchasing, Production, and Warehouse staff on routine materials questions and follow-up items.
• Participate in materials and inventory improvement projects in a support capacity, carrying out assigned tasks and data collection.
• Follow established inventory practices in compliance with company policy, financial controls, and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Summary

The Materials & Inventory Analyst supports the accuracy and day-to-day efficiency of materials and inventory processes at the assigned AGRU America facility. This role focuses on routine inventory tracking, data entry, cycle counting, and reporting under the guidance of the Senior Materials & Inventory Analyst, and provides an opportunity to build the analytical and process knowledge needed to progress toward more advanced materials and inventory analysis work.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform routine cycle counts and assist with the annual physical inventory, recording and reconciling results under supervision.
• Track inventory levels, materials flow, and usage data, and flag variances or discrepancies to the Senior Materials & Inventory Analyst.
• Enter and maintain accurate inventory transactions and records within the ERP/WMS system.
• Assist in preparing standard inventory reports and dashboards (e.g., inventory accuracy, turns, slow-moving inventory) for review by the Senior Materials & Inventory Analyst.

Requirements

Physical Demands & Work Environment

• Primarily warehouse- and production-floor-based, with regular office time for data entry and reporting; exposure to manufacturing equipment, moving materials, and varying temperatures.
• Ability to walk, stand, bend, and regularly lift up to 25 lbs. when conducting cycle counts, physical inventory, or floor observations.
• Required use of PPE (safety glasses, footwear, and other site-specific equipment) when on the production floor.
