Responsibilities

• Receives, examines and determines the condition and disposition of materials.
• Reviews disposal turn-in documents and verifies data against property records.
• Visually inspects usable property for condition and acceptability.
• Determines handling requirements (hazardous material, DEMIL, etc.) and classifies for warehousing.
• Verifies demilitarization codes and handles questionable items.
• Ensures proper certification is attached to demilitarized turn-in documents.
• Performs special and periodic inventory and re-palletizes as needed.
• Operates forklifts and related equipment to move and stack material.
