Job summary

RRD in St. Charles, IL is seeking a Warehouse Associate to load, unload, and move materials in a fast-paced facility. You will read work orders, feed and stack sheets, labels, and other in-process product, and ensure proper handling and tagging of items.

You will operate hand tools, shrink-wrap and strapping equipment, pallet jacks, and may use a forklift. The role offers overtime opportunities and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Good knowledge of general warehouse layout and procedures.
• Able to stock, move, arrange, and rotate items per instructions.
• Complete forms for stock description, quantity, and labeling requirements.
• Proficient with shrink-wrap, strapping, pallet jacks, hand tools, and related equipment.
• May require forklift operation.

Responsibilities

• Reads work order or follows verbal instructions to ascertain materials to be moved
• Move printed sheets, signatures, labels or other in-process product to/from equipment
• Load/unload materials onto pallets or trucks and apply strapping or padding
• Convey materials to designated areas using hand truck or dolly
• Count, weigh, and record units moved on daily production sheets
• Attach tags or labels and mark information on containers
• Bundle materials using banding machine and clincher
• May operate automated equipment and/or forklift to assist loading
• Other duties as instructed
