Job summary

Watts Water Technologies is seeking a Material Handler at our Hutchinson, KS facility. You will receive, inspect, store, and move raw materials to support manufacturing. You will safely operate forklifts and hoists, verify materials against orders, and maintain accurate inventory records.

Ideal candidates read shipping documents, perform basic math, and uphold safety protocols to maintain a clean, efficient workflow in a hands-on, on-site role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred, or equivalent education/experience.
• Experience operating forklifts or material handling equipment.
• Ability to safely operate overhead hoists and lifting equipment.
• Basic math and inventory calculations.
• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Ability to read work instructions and shipping docs.
• Strong attention to detail and safety.
• Reliable attendance and time management.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, unload, and stock incoming steel, tubing, and raw materials.
• Operate forklifts and hoists to move, store, and stage materials.
• Verify materials against purchase orders and docs.
• Maintain records of inventory transactions and material movement.
• Support production by supplying materials per schedule.
• Assist with counts, cycle counts, and inventory control.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and organized work area.
