Job summary
Pregis is seeking a Shipping/Receiving Material Handler to join our Plant Shipping/Handling team. This full-time, hourly non-exempt role supports accurate receipt, storage, movement, and shipment of materials, ensuring inventory accuracy and timely order fulfillment in a safe, compliant environment.
The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, forklift certification, experience with ERP or warehouse management systems, and prior shipping/receiving experience in
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience with ERP or warehouse management systems.
- Forklift certification with 1–3 years of experience.
- Previous experience in shipping and receiving in a manufacturing setting.
Responsibilities
- Ensure safe handling and movement of all products.
- Monitor and communicate accurate inventory control.
- Load/Unload incoming and outgoing trucks.
- Perform scheduling and data entry duties as assigned.
- Conduct cycle counts and assist with physical inventory.
- Follow shipping procedures to ensure timely deliveries.
- Maintain a clean, safe work environment.
- Adhere to safety regulations and PPE requirements.
- Process shipping/receiving documentation.
- Adhere to company policies and continuous improvement culture.
