Job summary

Weber Blackstone is seeking a Material Handler to manage the flow of parts by loading, unloading, and moving materials to support production. You will transfer parts between work cells and prepare items for storage, using RF scanners to track components throughout the shop floor. The role emphasizes accuracy, safety, and teamwork in a union U.S.

• High School Diploma or Equivalent, or 1-2 years manufacturing experience.
• Ability to work independently.
• Excellent communications.

Responsibilities

• Transfers parts from one work cell to another.
• Prepares parts for storage and hanging by protecting, sorting, stacking and/or racking.
• Uses RF scanner to request or return components back to storage racks.
• Maintains inventory by segregating scrap and defective parts and maintaining quantities.
• Accumulates production for order fulfillment and ensures proper stocking methods.
• Monitors quality through self-checks and comparisons to standards.
• Supports continual improvement of the process.
• Complies with safety policies and keeps 5S and housekeeping.
• Communicates effectively across levels and departments.
