Job summary

Magna Seating is seeking a Material Handler to keep materials flowing through the production area, moving raw materials and finished goods to the right locations using RF scanners. You will maintain inventory accuracy, organize storage, and support continuous improvement and safety practices on the shop floor.

Experience with FIFO, kanban, and basic Excel is helpful. Regular, on-site work with flexible scheduling to support shift changes is offered in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Move materials in and out of storage locations.
• Follow first-in, first-out (FIFO) procedures for issuing materials.
• Use radio frequency (RF) scanners to track inventory and process transactions.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
• Support production flow by delivering materials on time.
• Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow health and safety policies.

Responsibilities

• The Material Handler is responsible for keeping materials and supplies flowing through the production area.
• This includes moving raw materials and finished goods to the right locations, using scanning devices to track inventory, and ensuring accurate and timely deliveries.
• The role supports production by maintaining inventory accuracy, organizing storage areas, and helping with continuous improvement and safety practices.
