  • Drives various types of automobiles from sedans to passenger vans and trucks weighing up to 10,000 pounds to transport supplies, and materials on the installation and assists with loading and unloading cargo and materials.

Requirements
Conditions of employment
  • Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
  • Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
  • A one-year probationary period may be required.
  • Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
  • Incumbent may also be required to complete a Child Care Tier 1 background investigation for a Common Access Card for physical access to federally controlled facilities.
  • Work is performed inside warehouse in bin rooms, open storage areas and on receiving or shipping docks. Areas may be cold, drafty, damp or hot. Frequently exposed to scrapes, cuts and bruises
  • May be exposed to broken hones from falling stock or moving equipment. Required to wear safety equipment and clothing appropriate for this position.
  • Exposed to dirt and fumes, and the possibility of cuts, bruises, and broken bones as a result of accidents while driving or from falling objects when loading and unloading the vehicle.

Allowances and Differentials
  • This job falls under the Federal Wage Schedule (FWS) pay system. FWS employees earn overtime pay for working more than 8 hours in a day or more than 40 hours in a week -- whichever gives the employee more benefit. Regular full-time, regular part-time, and regularly scheduled flexible employees may receive Sunday premium pay for working on Sundays. Employees may also be eligible to receive extra pay if the majority of their scheduled hours falls after 3:00 PM.
  • Non-foreign overseas allowances, cost of living (COLA), and differentials will not be be paid, contingent upon eligibility.
