Job summary

The Bergaila Companies is seeking a Materials Handler IV – Asset Recover Coordinator to support field operations across the Permian Basin. You will identify, evaluate, and coordinate movement of company-owned materials and equipment to optimize asset utilization and maintain operational excellence.

This contract role requires oilfield experience, SAP proficiency, forklift certification, and strong inventory controls.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 3+ years in material handling, warehouse operations, inventory management, logistics, or oilfield operations.
• Experience in oilfield environments, particularly in the Permian Basin, preferred.
• Forklift operating certification and safe operation skills.
• Familiarity with inventory systems, ERP, or SAP.
• Strong shipping/receiving and inventory control knowledge.
• Ability to identify oilfield equipment and materials such as fittings, valves, and pipe.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills; ability to work independently and safely around heavy equipment.

What You’ll Need To Succeed

• High school diploma or GED
• 3+ years in material handling, warehouse operations, inventory management, logistics, or oilfield operations
• Experience in oilfield environments, particularly in the Permian Basin, is preferred
• Forklift operating certification and safe operation skills
• Familiarity with inventory systems, ERP, or SAP
• Strong understanding of shipping, receiving, and inventory control procedures
• Ability to identify oilfield equipment and materials, including fittings, valves, and pipe
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Excellent communication and organizational skillsAbility to work independently and safely around hard equipment

Nice To Have Skills

• Previous experience with SAP inventory transactions
• Oilfield equipment and asset management expertise
• Supply chain or warehouse operations background

• Familiarity with Occidental’s operational practices

Preferred Education & Experience

• Prior experience working in the Permian Basin oilfield sector
• Proven track record in warehouse or inventory management roles
• Experience operating forklifts and other material handling equipment

Other Requirements

• Must be willing to travel to various field locations
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and work outdoors in diverse weather conditions
• Physical capacity to stand, walk, bend, climb, and operate industrial equipment safely

This is a 12+ month contract opportunity at a competitive rate of $41.00/hour, working Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week.
