Job summary

Danos, LLC seeks a proactive Material Handler / Asset Recovery Coordinator to support field operations across the Permian Basin. You will identify, track, and move company materials from fields to yards, vendors, or buyers, ensuring accurate asset records and compliance with safety policies.

Ideal candidates have oilfield logistics experience, SAP proficiency, and the ability to work independently in the field, with forklift certification preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Permian Basin oil and gas experience in material handling, warehouse operations, inventory management, logistics.
• Forklift operating experience; certification preferred.
• Experience with SAP or a similar ERP/inventory management system.
• Must meet background check requirements including drug test and fit for duty.
• Physical ability to work in active oilfield environments; lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Travel to field locations to identify equipment, verify quantities, assess condition, and document assets.
• Evaluate whether equipment can be redeployed, stored, sold, or scrapped.
• Coordinate removal, transport, storage, disposal, or sale of surplus equipment and materials.
• Maintain accurate asset records with Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, and others.
• Process equipment transfers, receipts, and inventory transactions in SAP.
• Coordinate with vendors, trucking, scrap yards, and facilities for field cleanup.
• Ensure proceeds from sales are documented and communicated to Finance.
• Load, unload, transport, and stage materials at yards and locations.
• Receive, inspect, identify, and verify materials using part numbers and docs.
• Maintain inventory records and transaction documentation.
• Count, weigh, measure, and record materials handled.
• Label, tag, and organize materials per company procedures.
• Keep warehouses, yards, and work areas clean and organized.
• Follow all safety practices and environmental requirements.

Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Material Handler / Asset Recovery Coordinator to support field operations throughout the Permian Basin. This role is responsible for identifying, evaluating, tracking, and coordinating the movement of company-owned materials and equipment from field locations to inventory yards, disposal vendors, or approved buyers.

The ideal candidate has experience in oilfield operations, warehouse logistics, inventory management, and material handling. Successful candidates are safety-focused, mechanically inclined, comfortable working independently in the field, and experienced with inventory systems such as SAP.

Responsibilities

• Travel to company field locations to identify equipment, verify quantities, assess condition, and document assets.
• Evaluate whether equipment can be redeployed, stored for future use, sold, or scrapped.
• Coordinate the removal, transportation, storage, disposal, or sale of surplus equipment and materials.
• Work closely with Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, and other internal stakeholders to maintain accurate asset records.
• Process equipment transfers, receipts, inventory transactions, and material movements within SAP.
• Coordinate with vendors, trucking companies, scrap yards, and inventory facilities to support field cleanup activities.
• Ensure proceeds from equipment sales are properly documented and communicated to Finance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Permian Basin oil and gas experience in material handling, warehouse operations, inventory management, logistics, required.
• Forklift operating experience required; certification preferred.
• Experience with SAP or a similar ERP/inventory management system required.
• Must meet conditional job offer requirements including background, drug test (hair follicle), MVR, fit for duty and agility.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to safely work in active oilfield and industrial environments, including outdoors in varying weather conditions; frequently stand, walk, bend, and climb; repetitively lift and carry up to 50 lbs.; and safely operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment.
