Job summary

Headway Technologies in Milpitas, CA is seeking a Material Handler to manage ATS forms, credits for transfers, supplier research, and PM kit preparation. You will monitor stock, handle purchase requisitions, and verify parts against orders, ensuring inventory accuracy and timely fulfillment.

This role requires safety adherence and occasional overtime. The position operates on a rotating A/E/F shift schedule with a strong emphasis on accuracy, teamwork, and effective communication across

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Three years of experience as a Material Handler or Production Control Specialist.
• Knowledge of kitting, pulling, and staging parts.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Applications.

Responsibilities

• Reviews and completes ATS forms for equipment/tool repairs or cleaning.
• Reviews and issues credits for material transfers and handles purchase requisitions and inquiries on order status.
• Sources new or alternate suppliers for parts or equipment and recommends actions.
• Prepares and pulls PM kits for scheduled and unscheduled tool maintenance.
• Tracks and maintains inventory levels and verifies parts against orders and invoices.
• Unpacks parts, conducts receipts, and resolves material discrepancies.
• Responds to inquiries from staff and vendors.
• Operates forklift/pallet jack to move inventory.
• Adheres to safety policies and may work overtime as needed.
• Performs other duties of a similar nature.
