Job summary

Benchmark Electronics Inc. in Winona, MN is seeking a Materials/Warehouse Associate to ensure timely access to production materials and accurate stock locations.

You will handle parts, perform cycle counts, and support backorder tracking in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Responsibilities include pulling and stocking parts, processing requisitions, receiving components, and ensuring accuracy across inventory systems.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; 3+ years of materials/warehouse experience
• Safety-sensitive position
• Ability to work overtime as required
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Discretion, confidentiality, independent judgment and professionalism when representing the company

Responsibilities

• Pull parts from stock to build kits assigned to Production Control; issue and distribute the kits to the manufacturing operation
• Fill and account for material requisitions submitted from Operations
• Receive and place parts/components into stock from Receiving/Inspection
• Assist in tracking and filling backorders as parts/components become available
• Ensure the correct balances are maintained by the performance of Cycle Counts
• Monitor Priority material delivery to correct locations in a timely manner
• Restock shelves with incoming material and locate it in the system
• Research material issues using the system and related inquiries
• Provide guidance to lower level employees if requested by management
• May pull and send requests for component sales orders to shipping
• May operate a forklift
• Monitor reports to ensure materials are ordered and stored correctly
• All employees maintain quality to meet customer satisfaction
