Job summary

TOPPAN Packaging Americas is seeking a Material Handler I in Huntley, IL to maintain raw material flow for thermoforming production and support warehouse and shipping operations. The role ensures materials, cartons, and pallets are staged and ready for production, and aids in processing, scanning, staging, and shipping finished goods with accuracy and timeliness.

The position requires hands-on warehouse experience, ability to operate pallet jacks or forklifts, and precise inventory tracking.

Qualifications

• Experience with pallet jacks, warehouse operations, or forklifts.
• Warehouse, shipping, or receiving experience.
• Experience scanning and tracking inventory or raw materials.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Run the TEQ Plant schedule for the shipping dock.
• Stage raw materials, cartons, and pallets in designated production staging areas.
• Review and interpret pick tickets to identify customer shipping specifications.
• Ensure finished goods are properly wrapped and palletized.
• Stage finished goods accurately and on schedule for customer shipments.
• Accurately scan finished goods and raw materials to their final destination.
• Move pallets and pull inventory for shipping requirements.
• Complete receiving activities according to established procedures.
• Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
• Assist other departments as needed.
• Maintain warehouse organization and cleanliness.
