Job summary

TOPPAN Packaging Americas is seeking a Material Handler I in Franklin Park, IL. The role focuses on the movement of raw materials, WIP, and finished goods within the Thermoforming department to keep production running smoothly.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, roll splices, staging materials, label checks, and safe operation of forklifts and pallet jacks. Applicants should be able to work extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and follow safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Experience preferred in manufacturing environments (food, paper, plastic, or metal).
• Forklift experience a plus.
• Ability to work in a team and follow safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload materials and products.
• Perform roll splice operations and change Gaylords.
• Transport materials to staging areas and maintain material flow.
• Inspect regrind material for contamination and proper labeling.
• Operate forklifts, tugs, and pallet jacks safely.
• Follow all plant safety rules and guidelines.
• Work with team to meet production demands.
