Job summary

MAKS Plastics is seeking a Material Handler / Warehouse Worker to move materials between work areas and expedite processing according to schedules and priorities. You will organize work areas to streamline shipping processes.

Responsibilities include retrieving molds, handling scrap, assisting with mold changes, moving materials, and ensuring safety procedures and housekeeping are followed. The role supports a collaborative, growth-oriented production environment.

Qualifications

• Forklift experience in manufacturing environment.
• Experience using various types of manufacturing machinery and tools.
• Ability to communicate with leads and supervisors.
• Computer experiences helpful.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve molds from storage and take them to machines and return unused molds to proper storage locations
• Remove scrap parts that have been dispositioned
• Makes and assist with mold changes as required
• Locates and moves the required materials to the specified production area
• Moves product from Rotocast department to other departments as needed
• Follows all safety procedures: personal protective equipment, safety glasses, seat belt worn, has a valid Ameri-Kart tow motor license, honks horn frequently, observes pedestrians right of way, cautious of load being carried, NO excessive speeding. OSHA required forklift refresher training. OSHA required housekeeping
• Create a safe work environment
• Perform other duties as assigned
